The resource will provide the following support:
• Manage OSD tooling storage ensuring proper inspection, repair, and certification of upper and lower punches / dies used in tablet presses supporting proper manufacturing operation.
• Measure and inspect tooling to ensure compliance and adequacy.
• Assist operators in manufacturing equipment set-up / inspection as needed.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of tools (punches/dies, segments, mechanical components) for each product and/or dose as applicable.
• Create purchase and service requisitions. Coordinate with spare parts area or purchasing suppliers as applicable.
• Follow all Lilly procedures.
• Document all executed tasks on GMP related documentation following ALCOA+ principles.
• Comply with all training requirements assigned to the Tooling Specialist position.
Education:
AD in Industrial Mechanical Field Preferred 5–10-year experience in Manufacturing Environment
