Multicraft Technician

Carolina, Puerto Rico - Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • ​​Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
  • Execute maintenance activities as per specified procedures to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and systems within GMP areas.
  • Conduct troubleshooting tasks on units and systems, utilizing expertise in Instrumentation, Electrical, and Mechanical fields to identify and resolve any failures promptly.
  • Document all completed tasks comprehensively on the CMMS, ensuring accurate and detailed records are maintained for future reference and analysis.
  • Adhere strictly to all procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies at all times.
Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills:
  • Vocational degree or technical degree; Refrigeration discipline will be required or High school diploma with 2+ years of equipment or facilities maintenance experience required or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. 
  • Active Licensed Refrigeration Technician awarded by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Proficiency in multiple fields including Instrumentation, Electrical, and Mechanical, with a demonstrated ability to perform maintenance tasks across diverse equipment and systems.
  • Experience in executing maintenance activities within GMP environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent documentation skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently when required.
  • Commitment to adhering to all company procedures and protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
​​​​Physical Requirements and Working Environment:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate equipment's, tools, or controls.  The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, talk, or hear; sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and smell.  The employee may lift and/or move up to 25-35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • He / she may frequently work inside weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, exposed to wet and or humid conditions, and an odorous atmosphere, may be exposed to fumes and the risk of electrical shock, and occasionally work on ladders in high places, in small spaces, such as lift/metering stations, manholes, tanks and wet wells.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.
